“Thank you again for the lovely photos. As in previous years we are very impressed with so many things with Fotek being our pre-school photographers.
Over the years we have tried a few different photo companies.
We have returned to Fotek for the last 2 years and again in 2 weeks’ time for the following reasons.
1. I am yet to see a photo of any child that I don’t like or you would say isn’t a good one.
2. The photographers are professional, respectful of the children and the staff. They do their thing efficiently and pleasantly.
3. The photographers pay attention to detail/colours/background with the photo set up and making sure the children’s hair, nose and clothes etc look their best.
4. All group and individual photos are over and done with usually by 10.30/11am for 2 mornings during a week in March.
5. The photo packs are ready by the end of the following week to distribute to families.
6. The families are under no obligation to buy any of the photos.
7. A Fotek representative will drop in each week till all the money is collected or photos returned.
8. The centre gets a copy of all the photos on CD and 2 small photos of each child which we use to make presents for families, eg. Mother’s Day
9. Minooka receives a cheque each year for a percentage of the sales, though I’m not sure what this figure is. (This is not our main motivation)
10. Any of the Fotek staff are extremely helpful and a pleasure to work with. Any issues are resolved swiftly and without fuss.
I’m pleased to say that 2015 is no exception to the above points and as soon as we can we would like to book for the same week in 2016!!!”
“Thank you so much for my beautiful photo. The photographer squeezed us in when we didn’t have a booking and they have taken the first portrait pictures of our sons. Nothing extraordinary until I tell you that our eldest is autistic and taking pictures of him has always been very difficult. “Love all our photos with Fotek, Fotek have done our pre-school photos each year for 5 years straight 2012-2016 providing top quality prints, a variety of different fun shots and poses. My one year old was scared of the camera one year and I stayed to watch his photo shoot and they were so very patient and skilled at what they do that still managed to capture perfect photos amongst my son’s stubbornness to not crack a smile. The fantastic thing I love about Fotek is that we view before we buy and every year out of the 5 years I bought the entire package because they have always been so amazing!
In the most recent year, 2017, a competing photographer approached the pre-school and persuaded the director to switch photo companies (Childcare told me the switch was due to $) and the competing photo company provided terrible photos and a terrible experience with no value for money.
The comparison to what we are familiar with from Fotek really stood out and I must say Fotek product and service came out best. Well worth my money spent with Fotek. I have been spoilt with choice and amazing photos from Fotek. It saddens me as a parent that the childcare centre switched from using you guys. I know of other parents too that miss your photos.
